 RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Greet customers upon their arrival at dealership.
    • Answer all incoming calls promptly, and direct call to appropriate individual.
    • Handle general inquiries from callers.
    • Communicate with all callers in a friendly, efficient and professional manner and attempt to minimize the amount of time they are placed on hold.
    • Refer messages to correct party in a timely manner.
    • Place long distance calls.
    • Inform telephone company maintenance department of any switchboard malfunctions.
    • Revise and distribute company telephone lists when necessary.
    • Perform clerical duties such as arranging for couriers and proofreading, and assist other administrative departments as necessary.
    • Attend all department meetings.
    • Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
    • Perform any other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma.
    • 1–2 years’ related receptionist experience, preferred.

    • Personable, high customer-relation skills, and pleasant telephone manner.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Solid typing and filing abilities.
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
    • Manual dexterity for typing / keyboarding.
    • Computer literate.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Occasional dealings with upset or impatient people.
    • Occasionally manage stressful situations involving customers.
    • Occasional eyestrain related to computer use.
