RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Greet customers upon their arrival at dealership.
Answer all incoming calls promptly, and direct call to appropriate individual.
Handle general inquiries from callers.
Communicate with all callers in a friendly, efficient and professional manner and attempt to minimize the amount of time they are placed on hold.
Refer messages to correct party in a timely manner.
Place long distance calls.
Inform telephone company maintenance department of any switchboard malfunctions.
Revise and distribute company telephone lists when necessary.
Perform clerical duties such as arranging for couriers and proofreading, and assist other administrative departments as necessary.
Attend all department meetings.
Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
Perform any other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma.
1–2 years’ related receptionist experience, preferred.
SKILL & EFFORT
:
Personable, high customer-relation skills, and pleasant telephone manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid typing and filing abilities.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Manual dexterity for typing / keyboarding.
Computer literate.
WORKING CONDITIONS
:
Occasional dealings with upset or impatient people.
Occasionally manage stressful situations involving customers.
Occasional eyestrain related to computer use.
