Automotive Service Technician
Kieswetter Mazda is looking to add to our growing service department. As southwest Ontario's largest Mazda dealer, our shop is always busy. Join our team as our newest Automotive Service Technician. Qualifications: Registered 310S technician or 3rd/4th year apprentice Must hold a valid Ontario Driver's License Detail oriented, and problem-solving skills Punctual and reliable Strong communication skills and computer literacy Responsibilities: Complete repairs and services as per assigned repair orders, using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems using diagnostic tools Review work orders and discuss worth with service advisors Provide repair and servicing recommendations to service advisors and discuss parts availability with parts department Utilize computer to punch on and off jobs and document repair progress and diagnoses Stay up-to-date on factory training, recall notices, service actions and other manufacturer requirements Wages and Hours: Flat rate hourly pay, negotiable based on experience Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Half-day Saturday shifts during spring / fall tire season (4-8 per year) If you want to be part of a long-term, experienced, top performing dealership, please consider joining the Kieswetter Mazda Service team! $36,000 to $42,000 per year

Kieswetter Mazda is looking for a Lot Attendant!
About us: Kieswetter Mazda has been a staple of the Kitchener/Cambridge community for over 45 years. The Lot Attendant aids in bringing to life Kieswetter Mazda's brand experience. This position is responsible for working attentively in supervising, organizing and maintaining the dealership lot. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties: Actively maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and lot. Fuel vehicles as required Monitor vehicles for damages and blemishes. Park and arrange vehicles in assigned spaces to maximize lot efficiency and space. Change license plates as required. Ensure all documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Keep all vehicles clean and ready for delivery or display. Start all vehicles, and check for dead batteries. Keep inventory arranged in a neat and orderly fashion. Keep the work area free of debris and trash from vehicles. Keep the delivery area free of other vehicles and debris. Put all supplies in order at the end of the day. During winter months keep doorways shoveled, sanded, and cleared. Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager. Successful Candidates Possess: Ability to lift, lower, hold, and carry light to heavy loads. Possess a valid driver’s license (Class G) and a clean driving record. Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude. Self-motivating with an excellent work ethic. Loves a fast-paced environment. Ability to work cooperatively with other employees. Ability to operate assigned equipment. Attention to detail and high quality control standards.
